Intrinsic in our activities is that pupils learn to enjoy, value and respect Epping Forest to care for it into the future.
Assessment for learning
Suntrap staff will share learning objectives at the start of an activity. Pupils’ learning will then be assessed throughout and at the end of the activity using a variety of techniques including; traffic light system to set statements (thumbs up / middle / down), mini whiteboards used to answer set statements, mini presentations, use (by the students) of appropriate language/ vocabulary and plenaries used to review learning and enable staff to identify areas for clarification or for future learning.
