Your day at Suntrap
Your session will be led by a member of the Suntrap team all of whom are experienced outdoor environmental teachers or tutors, have a science or geography degree and are first-aid trained.
Overview of day trip
- met on arrival at Suntrap by staff, taken to your classroom and told about centre facilities and fire evacuation procedure.
- chosen activity will be introduced to children in the classroom.
- short break for toilets, snack and borrowing wellies.
- main activity outside in forest or Suntrap grounds.
- lunch in classroom or in Suntrap garden (supervised by school staff).
- if full-day option has been chosen then afternoon session will begin after lunch until you are collected by the coach.
- if half-day option has been chosen then children must be supervised by school staff if staying on site.
